Belay Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our intel team.The title for this position has been updated to reflect a shift from a Backend/DevOps focus to a Full Stack/DevOps focus. Description:You will use your software development and system administrative skills to support a bespoke data analysis platform for users tackling ever-evolving challenges. Your starting role will include managing a set of servers in the cloud developing and maintaining operational software and providing customer service. You will be working directly alongside the customer rotating between multiple sites to engage the entire userbase. You will have the opportunity to engage directly with their mission providing software development consultation and code additions to mission advancing code. Potential growth exists in the form of frontend software development innovation of user workflows and taking on leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate within a cross functional team.
Develop python applications to perform user and data management.
Develop ansible playbooks to deploy and upkeep upwards of 50 servers.
Adapt the platform as mission requirements progress.
Elicit requirements and feedback directly from users.
Assist users in utilizing the platform and aid development of their own script and process development.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
8yrs. B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional place of B.S
Experience with the following:
Python
Django
SQL
Ansible
Git
Linux
Redis
Nginx
Basic experience working in Linux environments; comfortable running and troubleshooting servers
Experience c directly with customers
Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
Experience with JavaScrip
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with AWS
