Position Summary
The CFSP Business Analyst will provide financial accounting support for CFSP models and contracts. This is an entry-level graduate role ideal for individuals aspiring to become chartered accountants. The role offers exposure to a wide range of financial processes and collaboration with operational teams across the business.
Essential Functions
- Support the Business Operations Manager with financial tasks for assigned models and contracts.
- Assist with:
- Revenue recognition for assigned projects.
- Backlog phasing and adjustments.
- Billing of service fees and expenses.
- Ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Business Review deliverables (e.g. Supply vs Demand Volatility reporting).
- Internal and client reporting (KPIs and metrics).
- Contract Change Management: pricing coordination and delivery of change documents.
- Project-level unbilled/unearned reviews.
- Attend and help prepare for monthly project reviews.
- Provide model support and oversight during the Business Ops Managers absence.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a chartered accountant qualification.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
