Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Peripheral Operator to join our team in Edgewood!
This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to set-up troubleshoots and operates IBM printing systems as well as peripheral equipment such as cutters and form winders.
- Individual must be able to follow defined operating processes and quality control procedures.
- Working with shift Supervisor Prod. Coordinator or Print Lead prioritize work requests and ensure jobs are printed in priority order.
- Maintains a clean safe and efficient working environment by following established safety procedures and rules; troubleshooting malfunctions and reporting the need for repairs; keeping equipment and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment by following manufactures recommendations for proper use and operation.
- Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential protecting printed documentation per established policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner assisting associates with projects or administrative work as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Maintains a clean organized and safe work environment
- Sound judgment and prioritizing skills; mechanical aptitude; ability to operate large machinery.
- Proficient in English; Spanish communication skills a plus
- Ability to follow defined procedures and adheres to quality standards.
- Self-starter; shows initiative; ability to conduct business in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently; good interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- General PC knowledge to interface with software for job processing and email
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years experience in related industry/equipment
- Requires reading analyzing information and implementing solutions.
- Requires standing for long periods of time; stooping and kneeling; handling heavy roll form; lifting to waist up to 40 pounds.
- Wearing of safety shoes mandatory.
- Flexibility in work schedule that is based on Production volumes which could require weekends and holidays
- Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridges policies.
Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 - $20.70 USD - Bonus Eligible
