Job Description
- To implement all directions issued by the appropriate authority on aviation security and will also be responsible in deployment of trained security personnel for security functions as per regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure implementation of AVSEC measures supervision and coordination of security related activities at airports.
- Responsible for implementation of the Airline security programme & Local Standard Operating Procedure.
- Ensure on time investigation of Security Lapse Security Incident occurrence and accident to provide inputs for updating material and training requirements and update manual and local SOP.
- Ensure competent and qualifies work force are detailed for duty
- Control theft & pilferage of Company property
- Establish and maintain effective liaison with the government agencies other security/safety related departments airport operator customer other airlines and other appropriate authorities responsible for security functions.
- Ensure prompt reporting of all actual or suspected acts of unlawful interference Security Accidents Security Incidents Security lapses near miss and Audit ATR.
- Maintain data of Security Accidents Security Incidents Security lapses near miss to initiate corrective & preventive measures.
- Ensure to perform regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities. Implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Coordinate with local security and police and intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.
