Do you have a passion for analyzing data and providing insights that drive business decisions In this role you will support the Category Management team in advising on the Toy Action Figure category at Walmart with a holistic objective point of view. Striving to achieve their objectives by providing analytics improving processes and making recommendations based on data backed insights.
Location: This position will be onsite based out of our Bentonville AR office locaton
A Day In The life of a Category Management Analyst:
- Provide objective fact-based category analysis and support to drive category sales and share growth in the Toy Action Figure category at Walmart period over period.
- Derive insights from category analyses that support the Walmart Merchant in developing and executing successful category and customer plans.
- Manage analyze and develop fact-based reporting tools to deliver concise category management recommendations and identify opportunities for category growth.
- Support customers with planogram/modular drawing and strategy execution on shelf.
- Discover and share category trends fair share opportunity gaps white space and share of wallet and leakage opportunities for the Walmart Merchant.
- Establish strong knowledge of the Toy Action Figure category at Walmart to assist in strategic conversations and plans.
What Youll Bring:
- 2-3 years of experience as an Analyst in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry providing insights that support business decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI.
- Experience pulling interpreting and presenting scan and panel data. (Circana Numerator Walmart Scintilla Profitero)
- Experience with Blue Yonder Space Planning. (or similar software)
- Understanding of Data Privacy and Governance. (role deals with highly sensitive information)
- Pace: Ability to work in a high pressure fast paced environment with flexible workstyle to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Analytic Skills: Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results; proficiency in retail math.

The base salary range for this position is $67800.00 to $101700.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience skills location and market conditions. Additionally employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
