Job Summary
The Channing Division of Network Medicine (CDNM) home of the Nurses Health Studies (NHS) at Brigham and Womens Hospital seeks a Project Manager to support strategic transformation change management and activities related to restructuring of the cohorts research operations. The NHS are among the longest running longitudinal studies of health in women. They helped establish key public health and clinical guidelines in nutrition and in cancer and cardiovascular medicine.
The Project Manager will report to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and will work closely with the Head of Bioinformatics Program Director for Cohort Outreach and Partnerships cohorts principal investigators staff and administrative leaders at the hospital. As part of this transformation team the project manager will collaborate on further development and implementation of IT restructuring partnership development and other elements of a five-year strategic plan. This is an exciting opportunity to help ensure the continued long-term public health impact of these cohorts.
The Project Manager will offer standard project management support mainly focused on implementation of an ongoing plan and including tasks related to implementation execution reporting and evaluation of a transformation the area of data infrastructure transformation they will help drive completion of tasks by communicating needs and timelines and following up with stakeholders involved in completing and overseeing the area of partnership development the goals are to have the cohort participants and researchers better represent the U.S. population. Partnerships are under development with other universities and nursing associations. For both areas the project manager will help facilitate meetings among stakeholders to move initiatives forward.

Bachelors Degree Related Field of Study required and Masters Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Project management experience 5-7 years required and Team leadership experience required

Demonstrated experience in managing working relationships in a matrix structure
High level of interpersonal skills to successfully communicate with diverse groups of people with various technical and non-technical expertise.
Ability to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities.
Ability to steer group members to complete tasks on a timeline.
Excellent writing skills; ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Meticulous attention to accuracy and details.
