Job Description:
The Aircraft Operations will gain experience in the Management/Supervisory role for aircraft undergoing maintenance and modification. Intern(s) will assist the Operations Management Team with managing aircraft schedules budgets personnel and quality objectives. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership managerial skills and the ability to work cross functionally to achieve on-time delivery.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the development of performance metrics in key areas such as Quality Cost and Schedule.
- Analyze such metrics and be able to identify trends and provide corrective action when applicable
- Support production business and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment
- Perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including total quality management manufacturing systems material management and process re-engineering
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bchelors or Masters Degree in one of the following disciplines: Business Aviation Maintenance Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Preffered Skills:
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires US Citizenship.
- Excellent oral written and computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite with heavy emphasis on Excel.
- Must be able to walk to and from the flight line work in aircraft hangar environment board/exit aircraft to include accessing and maneuvering in restricted/limited spaces such as aircraft wing and body fuel tanks and walking on wings and fuselage (with appropriate safety gear).
- Must be a self-starter and motivated.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills and have the ability to coordinate with other functional groups and support organizations.
- Must be flexible to work off shifts and overtime as required.
