Title: Maintenance Technician Electrical/Mechanical (Reagent Manufacturing Equipment)

Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on high-speed automated reagent manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and logic controller issues.
Troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500 & 5000) and make minor logic modifications.
Support equipment upgrades and installations.
Preventive Maintenance & Planning
Execute and refine preventive maintenance (PM) intervals.
Partner with maintenance planning to manage spare parts inventory and critical spare identification.
Document repairs changes and PM activities in SAP ATR system.
Support & Collaboration
Provide technical support to manufacturing engineers and quality teams.
Mentor junior technicians and distribute work assignments.
Participate in Lean/Kaizen initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Compliance & Safety
Follow all safety procedures including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and Zero-Energy protocols.
Comply with FDA and internal quality standards.
Handle hazardous waste appropriately.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of high-speed automated equipment maintenance experience
OR
Associate degree in Electrical Instrumentation Mechanical or Mechatronics with 2 3 years of related experience.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing circuits (low-level signals up to 480 VAC).
Hands-on experience with:
Allen-Bradley PLCs (RSLogix 500/5000)
Servo motors and drives (preferably Allen-Bradley)
High-speed visual inspection systems (Keyence & Cognex)
Competence in MS Excel & Word.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in FDA-compliant manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of Lean methodologies and TPM principles.
Familiarity with:
Basic machining (lathes mills)
Servo drive systems
Vision systems
Pumping and piping systems
Full-time
