Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Review medical records and assign correct ICD-10-CM CPT and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with regulations and payer rules.
- Work with doctors and staff to clarify documentation.
- Conduct audits and quality checks of coded records.
- Mentor and support junior coders.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines and industry changes.
Requirements:
- Certification: CPC / CCS / COC or equivalent (mandatory).
- Experience: 4 6 years of medical coding with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 CPT HCPCS medical terminology and E/M coding.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Familiar with EHR systems and coding software.
