Our clientan established leader in business consultingis seeking a motivated and skilled Network Engineer (m/f/d) 80100% to join their dynamic team in Zurich. Tasks
Configure and install a wide range of network devices and services including routers switches firewalls load balancers VPNs and QoS solutions
Implement and manage Palo Alto SD-WAN and GlobalProtect VPN with Prisma Access to ensure optimal performance and security
Perform ongoing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs patches and security updates
Monitor network performance proactively and resolve connectivity issues to ensure system reliability and minimal downtime
Collaborate with IT teams to enhance network performance and maintain detailed documentation of all configurations and procedures
Requirements
35 years of hands-on experience in network engineering with deep knowledge of TCP/IP BGP OSPF and network security principles
Practical experience with Palo Alto ION or CloudGenix SD-WAN; experience in Azure cloud networking is a plus
Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds Orion for monitoring and fault management
Strong troubleshooting skills paired with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CompTIA Network) are an advantage
