Job Description
Your Responsibilities
- In this position you hold both managerial and operational responsibility for the Procurement department
- You are responsible for the employees in your department for the implementation and compliance with rules regarding workplace safety health protection and environmental standards.
- You are responsible of the development and implementation of the strategy for the Procurement department considering the objectives of the company as well as the Purchasing department.
- You define procurement strategies (usage / parameters / inventories)
- You ensure the supply of parts for the Internal Combustion Engine Business Unit from manufacturing to assembly
- You oversee performance indicators and stock management
- You analyze turnover rates at suppliers and monitor the continuous improvement measures put in place
- You present your results to Management and stakeholders
- You are a driver of change and improvements necessary for the efficiency of the procurement function
- You participate in internal procurement projects and/or group-wide initiatives.
Your profile
- You hold a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Business Management or an equivalent field
- You have at least five years of experience in Industrial Procurement or Supply Chain
- You have prior experience in team management
- You are fluent in French and English. German is a plus
- You are proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
- You appreciate teamwork in a multicultural and international environment
- You are comfortable with problem-solving and enjoy challenges
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
