Job Description
- Processing of scientific questions for the analysis of pharmaceutical agents in the GMP regulated environment with focus on elemental analysis by ICP-MS (possibly ICP-OES)
- Development of new methods
- Performing and planning of scientific experiments feasibility studies as well as method development verification validations and transfers
- Processing of non-standard analytical runs
- Documentation of activities and the completion of all tasks necessary to maintain the laboratory and associated instruments
- Conformity with GMP regulations for lab work and documentation
- Document preparation and review
- Hands on troubleshooting in the lab including ICP-MS and ICP-OES instruments
- Training of (new) employees
Requirements
- Degree in chemistry or equivalent or experienced laboratory technician with focus on instrumental (inorganic) analytical chemistry
- Sound knowledge in atomic spectrometry (ICP-MS or ICP-OES AAS) is an advantage
- Professional experience in the GMP-regulated environment preferable but no prequisit
- Can do attitude / passion and knack for working with instruments
- Reliability initiative and motivation
- Very good English and German skills (spoken and written) required
