Job Description

  • Responsible for the execution of the Air Cooled Condenser unit and other water steam cycle systems (Turbine Unit System at a second stage). 
  • Define work packages write specifications for scope and services prepare request for quotation documents conduct technical supplier meetings select suppliers ensure expedition of your lots  
  • Coordinate and supervise concepts basic engineering and persuade counterparts even in controversial discussions. You support the team cross functional in the area of water steam cycle. With your sound experience you will ensure the interfaces and concept requirements of the different systems are matching together 
  • Clarify interfaces also with other disciplines (civil steel structure construction Electrical & instrumentation plant layout) and you integrate the lot in the plant 
  • Drive an active collaboration with the plant design (installation of components and pipe routing) 
  • Ensure supplier compliance and you are responsible of receiving the engineering documents in due time. You will check comment and approve them and distribute them to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with respect to the responsible systems (lots) 
  • Support the construction and commissioning team mainly from the office) 
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% of your time to suppliers or on site 

Qualifications :

  • Trained Mechanical Engineer (Bachelor or Master degree) with 5 years experience in water steam systems Air Cooled Condenser System  and Turbine Unit System commissioning or process engineer of EPC projects 
  • Solid knowledge of different plant processes mechanical products and components and MS Office 
  • Strong coordination and negotiating skills paired with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders on different levels (procurement suppliers site staff) 
  • Structured precise self-driven positive and responsible personality 
  • Fluency in English German knowledge is a plus
