This Position reports to:
Production Engineering ManagerAbout the position
As a Production Engineering Specialist in Product and Process Engineering you will drive improvements in production.
They report to the Head of Production Engineering. Her focus is on the
Optimization of the equipment assembly methods and processes of the production organization to minimize labor time in accordance with business requirements and strategies related to quality efficiency cost and safety
You will have the opportunity to have an active role in the transformation of the site and will be able to demonstrate your change management skills.
Responsibilities
Planning implementation and further development of manufacturing workflows production processes and resources for the optimal production and testing of assemblies and devices
Conception procurement and implementation of equipment of equipment including coordination of internal and external partners
Product responsibility for a product line related to all tasks related to production engineering (across locations)
Collaboration in the industrialization of products from the product idea to series production
Your Background
Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering electrical engineering automation technology or comparable qualification e.g. through sound practical experience
Several years of professional experience in the field of industrial production ideally in the above-mentioned area of responsibility
Vocational training or further education in the relevant field desirable
Ability to think conceptually and think out of the box
Affinity for IT and data processing processes
Passion for optimization and change as well as a strong can-do mentality
Very good German and good English skills in the subject area
