Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete integration roadmap for one acquisition at a time ensuring seamless alignment of asset and corporate integration to maximize deal value realization.

  • In collaboration with the Head of M&A Integration and the Business Sponsor make key strategic and operational decisions (e.g. legal entity setup carve-out bolt-on integration) and guide the integration direction.

  • Champion a One Novartis mindset by aligning integration activities across all functions and stakeholders ensuring that integration efforts support enterprise goals.

  • Develop and oversee Day 1 and Day 100 readiness plans including project charters team structures resource planning and integration cost projections.

  • rack execution against integration plans proactively address deviations and adjust strategies and resources as needed to maintain momentum and mitigate risks.

  • Continuity Ensure compliance with legal and internal policies safeguard business continuity during transition phases and uphold auditable integration processes.

  • Partner with Change Management and Communications to drive employee engagement manage retention strategies and support cultural integration throughout the process.

  • Document lessons learned and contribute to the development of scalable best practices and integration playbooks to enhance future M&A integration efforts.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field.

  • Proven experience in strategic planning and value creation across enterprise functions. Extensive program management experience in large-scale change initiatives across RDC (Research Development Commercial) and/or Corporate domains (e.g. transactions integrations separations).

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to balance technical requirements and strategic priorities; sound judgment in risk and issue management.

  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project teams with strong people management capabilities.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience as a General Manager CFO or equivalent senior leadership role.

  • Direct experience in M&A transactions and post-merger integration.

  • Background in Tier 1 consulting with exposure to complex transformation projects.
