Join Hitachi Energys global Legal & Integrity team as aJunior Lawyerand kick-start your legal career in a dynamic international environment!
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Lawyer to support our Legal and Integrity Department for a fixed term of 18 months.
As part of this role you will participate in a specialized learning program designed to build the skills and knowledge essential for a successful legal career within a global organization.
You will gain exposure to a wide range of legal matters and projectslocally regionally and globally. Youll also contribute to the development of innovative legal tools including those powered by Generative AI to support our growing business.
This position reports to theGlobal Head of Contracts and Litigation.
How youll make an impact
Support the Head of Contracts and Litigation and colleagues in providing legal advice across a broad range of issues including dispute resolution and litigation
Assist in the development and implementation of Generative AI tools for legal applications
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
Review and support contract negotiations
Contribute to the development and rollout of legal strategies directives and standards
Liaise with external service providers including legal counsel
Participate in cross-functional projects at local regional and global levels
Engage in continuous learning through our Legal and Integrity learning program

Your background
Graduate degree in law
0-2 years of experience
Bar admission is preferred but not mandatory
Demonstrated ability to be agile and keen to learn
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong interest in technology and process improvement
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
High level of integrity and ethical standards
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
