Job Description Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Integrated Insights to lead our efforts in generating critical insights to support BD&L activities and the strategic development of our early-stage pipeline assets. This pivotal role will be instrumental in informing strategic decisions related to external opportunities and shaping the future direction of our innovative therapies. You will lead cross-therapeutic area insight generation working collaboratively with diverse teams to uncover unmet needs evaluate market potential and assess the competitive landscape.


Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Insight Generation: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive integrated insights plans to support BD&L evaluations including target identification due diligence and deal assessment.
  • Early Asset & Pipeline Insights: Drive the generation of critical insights for early-stage assets encompassing market opportunity assessments patient journey understanding competitive intelligence and potential positioning strategies across various therapeutic areas.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with BD&L teams early development teams commercial strategy market access and strategy and growth needs and deliver impactful actionable insights.
  • Advanced Analytics & Methodologies: Leverage a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies including market research competitive intelligence forecasting and advanced analytics to generate robust and reliable insights.
  • Storytelling & Communication: Effectively communicate complex insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams through compelling presentations reports and visualizations.
  • Vendor Management: Identify evaluate and manage external research vendors and consultants to ensure high-quality and cost-effective delivery of insights.
  • Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends innovative research methodologies and emerging data sources to continuously improve the quality and impact of insights generation.
  • Therapeutic Area Agility: Develop a strong understanding of diverse therapeutic areas to effectively lead insight generation across a broad portfolio of opportunities and early assets.

Essential requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Life Sciences Business Economics Market Research). An advanced degree (Masters PhD MBA) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical/biotech insights generation market research competitive intelligence or strategic consulting with a significant focus on BD&L and/or early-stage asset development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and analytical techniques.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data and information into clear concise and actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of the drug development process regulatory landscape and pharmaceutical market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in a global environment and with cross-functional teams.. Experience in leading and developing teams (preferred).
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in utilizing relevant data sources and analytical tools.
