Job Description
Your responsibilities
Are you a Technician qualified in the field of Software Engineering or IT and eager to apply your skills to real-world challenges Are you passionate about science and technology
Were looking for early career professionals to join the Electronics Production & Radiation Tolerant Section (EPR) within the Controls Electronics and Mechatronics (CEM) under the Beams Department (BE) and contribute to the worlds greatest scientific institution.
In this role your main tasks will be related to EPRs digital systems integration and validation. Youll spend around 70% of your time working in electronics-related tasks and 30% in radiation effects-related tasks including:
- Integrating Access Database Chouette into Job Management Systems (JMS) and validating functionalities;
- Tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
- Maintenance of Power BI Dashboards;
- Overseeing the sections websites;
- Ensuring effective ticketing system integration with sections services.
Your profile
Skills
Required:
- PowerBI;
- Python;
- SQL and/or Data Management.
Desired:
- Experience with invoicing;
- Experience with procurement workflow;
- Experience with Web Content Management;
- Experience writing technical documentation;
Language:
- Spoken and written English or French with a commitment to learn the basics of the other language.
Eligibility criteria:
- You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
- By the application deadline you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Computing (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
- Applicants with a Bachelors Masters or PhD degree are not eligible.

Contract duration: 12 months with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
