role summary

The Senior IT Developer will be responsible for building maintaining and documenting Integrations and Interfaces between Ornua and its wide and disparate partner network (especially customers members suppliers banks warehouses freight/haulage providers and regulatory bodies) between internal Ornua business units and our best of breed applications (especially Salesforce Azure Foods Connected Jaggaer Infor apps). They will ensure high visibility of these processes allowing users to understand and troubleshoot errors.

The Senior IT Developer will report to the Integration Lead within the Digital & Applications Team and in addition to Integration Development they will support other functions within the Digital and Applications Team especially ERP and Enterprise Applications. They will also support the maintenance and deployment of the Ornua Digital and Technology Strategy.

They will engage with business experts Global process owners and other business analysts to develop business requirements and translate these into technical deliverables across the Ornua group. This is an ideal role for a technical and data-oriented individual with a strong background in business engagement who enjoys rapidly designing and developing innovative solutions to solve business challenges.

key areas of responsibility

• Maintain the existing IBM B2Bi integration platform troubleshooting errors liaising with business users improving user visibility documenting solutions.
• Onboarding external partners - understanding and implementing partner specifications and testing tools engagement with partners during and after this process and developing relationships with key partners and colleagues across our network.
• Design build and maintain Azure Logic Apps to orchestrate enterprise integrations across CRM ERP and supplier platforms ensuring secure scalable and efficient data workflows.
• Supporting and driving the delivery of Integration projects through their entire project lifecycle. This includes gathering of business requirements solution and technical design testing and implementation.
• Engaging with business leads and PMO team to develop a deep understanding of business requirements translating these requirements into technical deliverables and plans which meet business needs and follow agreed Global governance processes. Identify areas for process improvement and redesign and develop IT solution proposals to address these opportunities.
• Work with technology partners to ensure applications are compliant supported and up to date fit for purpose and optimised

key requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science information systems or a similar field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with integration or middleware tools.

• Strong hands-on experience withIBM B2Bi (Sterling Integrator).

• Proficiency inAzure Logic Appsand related Azure integration services.
• Experience with architecting business processes data requirements and integrations with other applications
• Solid understanding ofAPI design integration(REST SOAP JSON XML) and XML and related technologies (XSLT XPath XSD DDF etc).
• High level of integrity passion self-motivation and analytical skills. Flexible attitude and willingness to travel.
• Strong team player and organisational abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  
  

Optional Requirements:

• Experience of Programming Languages especially Java and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Source Code Management (Git) & DevOps
• Experience with other applications in our Global portfolio would be an advantage:
  • ERP application (e.g. Infor M3 or similar)
  • BI application (e.g. Power BI)
  • Technical competence in enterprise report development data analytics tools BI ETL SQL or equivalent relationship database query language
