Job Description
Relai is Europes leading Bitcoin-only app and were looking for a QA Engineer to help us ship bug-free high-quality features across mobile and backend.
Youll leverage your deep technical expertise and leadership skills to support mentor and drive alignment within our engineering team. This role is ideal for a tech leader who thrives in dynamic startup environments and is eager to shape the future of Bitcoin at scale.
Tasks
- Lead coach and support the engineering team
- Collaborate closely with the CTO to drive strategic technical initiatives and ensure alignment between engineering execution and company goals.
- Translate product and business goals into scalable and efficient technical solutions
- Ensure high-quality delivery engineering performance and reliability across the stack
- Foster a high-performance collaborative engineering culture
- Collaborate closely with the Product team to plan scope and prioritize work
- Help define and evolve our technical strategy as we scale
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a tech leadership role (e.g. Engineering Manager Tech Lead Head of Engineering)
- Proven background as a software engineer (youve been hands-on before even if youre not coding today)
- Strong track record leading engineering teams in fast-paced startup environments
- Solid understanding of backend systems cloud infrastructure CI/CD pipelines and product engineering
- Excellent communication and leadership skills you lead by influence not authority
- Bonus: experience with Bitcoin fintech or trading systems
