Job Description
As an AI Engineer you will play a key role in a high-impact greenfield initiative to develop a global Generative AI platform within the banking environment. Based in Zurich with a hybrid working setup (3 days onsite) you will design implement and optimize AI solutions using Azure OpenAI and large language models (LLMs). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI into various business applications ensure platform stability and proactively troubleshoot model performance. You ll leverage Python for development and testing maintaining best practices in MLOps and quality assurance. Strong understanding of enterprise security compliance and banking protocols is essential.

- Proven hands-on experience in building deploying and maintaining AI/LLM-based applications
- Minimum 5 years of Python development experience in production environments
- Mandatory expertise in Azure OpenAI services and integration into enterprise platforms
- Strong understanding of testing frameworks and troubleshooting practices
- Prior exposure to GenAI and prompt engineering methods
- Previous experience working in a regulated banking environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multi-disciplinary teams
- Bachelor s or higher degree in Computer Science Engineering AI or related field
