Job Description
The Intelligence Automation Competence Centre has the assignment to create value by providing automation solutions and simplify the life of our IKEA co-worker working hand in hand with the business and product teams.
This role includes essential duties and responsibilities:
- Innovation and Cohesion: Drive technical innovation and cohesiveness across development teams ensuring the implementation of best practices and advanced methodologies.
- Architectural Collaboration: Work closely with architects to develop scalable resilient and modular platforms and products.
- Development Leadership Support: Assist the Development Leader in managing the team leading significant technical initiatives to enhance process efficiency and drive engineering excellence.
- Practice Evaluation: Evaluate and refine existing technical development practices for improved performance and scalability.
- PoC and PoT Responsibility: Oversee Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and Proof-of-Technology (PoT) exercises connected to automation technical capabilities and business challenges.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical expert on development projects.

To be successful in this role we believe you MUST have:
- Experience: At least 7 years as a senior software engineer focused on automation with 5 years in agile and DevOps-driven projects.
- Automation Proficiency: Deep understanding of automation technical framework development and architecture.
- Software Engineering Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering principles including advanced tools and design patterns.
- Platform Expertise: Proficiency in UiPath and Power Platform technologies with robust experience in RPA Test Suite Power Automate and Apps.
- AI and Chatbot Development: Expertise in developing AI-based automation solutions and chatbot technologies.
- Change Management: Demonstrated ability to drive and manage technological changes in large organizations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale automation projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications: Relevant
- Relevant UiPath Developer certifications (preferred)
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or Azure AI certifications would be advantageous
You should also be able to make advanced technical solutions understood and embraced by both technical and non-technical co-workers.
