Job Description
The assignment will specifically focus on the Data Analytics and Automation area within the capability area of Logistics & Fulfilment. As a Business Analyst you will support the exploration definition and management of business requirements and ensure these align with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations. With this you represent the needs of the IKEA stakeholder community capturing and clearly communicating user needs and validating developed solutions effectively.
Your job specific key tasks and responsibilities are:
- Verify and articulate business needs ensuring alignment with IKEAs strategic vision.
- Gather define document and manage comprehensive business requirements.
- Conduct detailed analysis assessing potential outcomes and impacts of proposed solutions.
- Support in planning activities to prioritize requirements effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Digital Product Teams and the Digital Product Leader translating complex business needs into clear digital product requirements.
- Contribute to digital product development processes including solution exploration implementation testing and adoption.
- Support change management creating communication and educational materials to facilitate successful implementation and user adoption.
- Continuously evaluate solutions post-implementation to ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder satisfaction.
In this role you will report to the Competence Hub Development Manager within the SCD area Logistics & Fulfilment Development.
Qualifications :
You have excellent analytical skills. You are able to see the big picture as well as the details and to structure information and derive conclusions and consequences out of them. You are able to interact with strong stakeholders understand them and their needs as well as making them understand you. You are interested in exploring uncertainty and learning new things. Communicate with people building trust and partnership and reach common goals. You like to work in a team and together achieve long-term sustainable business result and deliver better solutions for IKEA from idea to reality.
You have proven experience and knowledge in:
- Ability to understand the end-users everyday life at work
- Good at facilitating planning and managing workshops and activities.
- Proven experience in Business Analysis and requirements management
- Strong analytical skills with experience translating complex business needs into clear actionable requirements.
- Understanding of cloud technologies.
- Understanding of SQL Python Automation and AI/ML frameworks
- Familiar with end-to-end data analysis processes from gathering requirements to presenting findings to stakeholders
- Demonstrated proficiency with analytics tools specifically Power BI and Databricks.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English
