Your responsibilities
CERNs IdeaSquare is seeking a highly motivated and organised Educational Programs Co-Coordinator to plan manage and deliver a wide range of educational activities. These include student programs run in collaboration with global partner universities and institutions events for the CERN community and external engagements hosted at IdeaSquare.
Key responsibilities:
- Under the supervisors guidance leading the planning coordination and execution of student innovation programs in partnership with universities and institutions worldwide.
- Ensuring the seamless logistical delivery of programs including CERN experiment tours mentoring sessions workshops and guest talks.
- Operating the IdeaSquare event calendar and oversee the coordination of space bookings for both internal CERN and external partner events.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of innovation education practices and methodologies at IdeaSquare.
Your profile
Skills:
- -Demonstrated experience with innovation methodologies and frameworks.
- Proven background in teaching coaching or mentoring student teams is desirable.
- A curious growth-oriented mindset with a passion for exploring complex societal and technological challenges.
- Strong initiative and independence with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and see tasks through to completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with emotional intelligence and the ability to build effective networks.
- Adaptability and a fast learner comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Candidates with a masters degree will be prioritised.
- Spoken and written English with a commitment to learn French.
Eligibility criteria:
- You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
- By the application deadline you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Engineering Management Physics (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelors or Masters degree.
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
- Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
- Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.

Contract duration: 6 months with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
