My client an Accounting and Auditing firm in the Southern Suburbs know for their high level of professionalism and client service excellence is looking to employ a Financial Statement Compiler to join them.

What you will be doing:
- Compile annual financial statements in line with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs
- Ensure compliance with relevant Companies Act disclosure requirements
- Prepare working paper files supporting financial statement disclosures
- Liaise with audit teams on adjustments and presentation
- Apply correct accounting treatment to complex transactions (leases financial instruments fair value adjustments)
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and frameworks
- Work with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs
What we are looking for:
- BCom Accounting degree or equivalent
- Completed SAICA articles advantageous
- 23 years experience compiling financial statements
- Proficiency in CaseWare Working Papers essential
- Strong knowledge of IFRS IFRS for SMEs and Companies Act disclosure requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and organisational skills
