Assistant Manager - Enterprise Risk Management

Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager - Enterprise Risk Management and Business resilience is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the organizations risk management framework.
This role involves identifying assessing and mitigating risks that could impact the organizations ability to achieve its objectives as well as ensuring the business resilience of its assets information and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the enterprise risk management program.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks to the organization.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management activities.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into their processes.
- Facilitate risk management training and awareness sessions for employees.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes related to risk management and business resilience
- Assist in managing the organizations crisis management and business continuity planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws regulations and standards related to enterprise risk and business resilience.
- Perform cross-industry research to identify emerging trends best practices and applicable benchmarks for enterprise risk and resilience.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate monitor and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) that support proactive risk management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Risk Management Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional certification in risk management is preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in risk management is preferred.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies for risk monitoring.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of business resilience protocols and incident response.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Excel Power BI or similar platforms.
- Ability to perform cross-industry research to identify trends emerging risks and applicable benchmarks.
- Ability to communicate complex risk-related concepts to various audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
