The Tarrant To & Through (T3) Partnership aims to increase postsecondary credentials and workforce success for Tarrant County students. Currently only 39% of adults have an associate degree or higher despite 65% of jobs requiring post-secondary education. T3 provides resources financial assistance and opportunities to students and families equipping them for successful careers. Through collaboration with various organizations we strive for inclusive pathways to education. POSITION OVERVIEW Tarrant To & Through (T3) is seeking Advising Specialists to support T3s mission by assisting with student and family engagement digital platform integration and programoperations. This role emphasizes the use of communication strategies training support and digital tools to ensure students and families are equipped with the resources needed to pursue postsecondary opportunities confidently. Working under the direction of the Sr. Manager the Specialist helps deliver curriculum and training materials supports the integration of digital platforms and contributes to building strong relationships with schools partners students and families.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Digital Platform Support & Training (40%)
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing support of the T3 P2C digital platform at partner schools.
- Support training development and delivery for advisers staff and partners to ensure fidelity of platform use.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Manager to design user guides toolkits and digital learning resources for students families and partner staff.
- Troubleshoot digital platform challenges in partnership with the T3 technology team and vendors.
- Track and analyze student engagement data in case management systems (e.g. Salesforce) to inform communication and support strategies.
Student Family and School Engagement (40%) - Execute targeted student and family communication strategies ensuring timely and relevant information is shared.
- Draft newsletters updates and digital communications using Pathways2Careers platform Active Campaign ModernCampus and related tools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students families and school-based staff through regular touchpoints and responsive support.
- Collaborate with district staff and nonprofit partners to ensure students have clear pathways to postsecondary opportunities.
- Support execution of initiatives such as FAFSA completion T3 Pledge implementation TSI and Summer Launch.
Program Operations & Special Projects (20%) - Provide operational and logistical support for postsecondary readiness events trainings and workshops (both in-person and virtual).
- Assist in coordinating scheduling materials and resources for T3 events and trainings.
- Support special projects such as the Certificate & Credential initiative Go Center operations and resource hub updates.
- Contribute to quarterly reporting on student engagement platform use and program outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Education - Bachelors degree in relevant field advanced degree preferred.
Experience - 2 years of professional experience working within higher education K-12 education workforce development and/or a corporate philanthropy setting.
- Experience and success working in a matrixed organizational structure.
- Experience working with digital platforms training support or program operations.
Preferred Qualifications - Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Experience working directly with economically disadvantaged students and families
Knowledge Skills and Abilities - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be personable yet persuasive.
- Ability to draft and deliver digital content and training materials.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with data tracking reporting and continuous improvement practices.
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently on initiatives.
- Belief in the power of education and equity to improve outcomes for all students in alignment with T3s mission.
- Flexibility to support ongoing and emerging projects.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT This position will require frequent travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding suburbs.
