Job Description
To support the Corporations business growth we are looking for talents with high mobility and commitment to pursue careers in Mainland China. Successful candidates will be offered a comprehensive development programme to gain knowledge and experience of railway operations or station commercial in Hong Kong which is followed by future deployment of assuming a leading role in Mainland China hubs:
Programme Details
- Undergo an intensive and individualised training programme aiming to meet specific development needs of selected candidates
- Undergo a structured management training programme to develop business acumen and leadership capability
- Take part in on-the-job training or job rotations related to business operations to gain a wider perspective of operational knowledge
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering Business Administration or equivalent
- Chartered membership in a recognised professional institution related to transportation or engineering is preferred
- For the Manager Special Projects (Mainland China Business) candidates are required to have at least 8 years of relevant experience including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial position
- For the Senior Manager Special Projects (Mainland China Business) candidates must possess at least 12 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years at the managerial level as well as demonstrate the aspiration and potential for fast-track development
- Aspiring to undertake a leading general management role and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders willing to take up challenges in diverse work environment
- Highly mobile and committed to working in Mainland China
- Effective communication skills with good written and verbal English and Chinese proficiency in Putonghua is a must
- Candidates possessing competency in the areas of railway operations or station commercial with experience in leading diverse teams and/or work experience in Mainland China will have an advantage
