Position Overview
The Alarm Central Lead Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a UL-certified alarm monitoring center during assigned shifts. This role ensures the efficient and effective monitoring of security alarms coordinates responses to incidents and provides leadership to a team of alarm monitoring operators. The Lead Specialist plays a crucial part in maintaining high standards of service security and compliance while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise coach and motivate a team of alarm monitoring operators to achieve operational goals and maintain service excellence.
- Ensure all alarm signals are responded to promptly and accurately following established protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate responses to security incidents escalate issues when necessary and ensure thorough documentation and resolution.
- Provide ongoing training and support to staff to maintain high performance and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate operator performance conduct audits of alarm responses and implement improvements as needed.
- Compile shift reports document incidents thoroughly and effectively communicate critical information to management cross-functional teams and other relevant stakeholders.
- Address escalated customer inquiries and issues professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for each shift and manage operator schedules as required.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external partners to promote a safe working environment
Working Environment
The Alarm Central Lead Specialist works in a fast-paced technology-driven environment requiring a high level of vigilance and professionalism. The position involves shift work which may include nights weekends and holidays. Supervisors are expected to lead by example and foster a culture of teamwork accountability and continuous improvement.
