The Trade Compliance team enable Axis to import and export products worldwide always adhering to laws and regulations and striving to minimize import and export costs. We are now looking for an Export Control Advisor to join our team at our head quarter in Lund Sweden for a period of one year due to maternity leave. Who is your future team

We are a high performing diverse team consisting of thirteen skilled persons with different age gender nationality knowledge and background. The combination makes us strong and add flavor and joy to our workplace. Four persons focus on Export Compliance ensuring that Axis comply with Export Control regulations worldwide and that our high-tech products are not supplied to restricted countries parties or users. The other persons focus on Customs Compliance securing that import and export activities are performed in a compliant and efficient manner and customs costs are minimized. Your focus will be on Export Compliance.

What youll do here as Export Control Advisor

You will work closely with Axis Legal department R&D Sourcing Order and Sales in the different regions to secure that we are complying with EU and US Export Control legislations embargoes and sanctions. Below are examples of task within the Axis Export Compliance team:

• Serve as primary point of contact for Export Control matters.
• Responsibility for ECCN classification of commodities under both EU and US legislation.
• Gather required information and submit export license applications and determinations.
• Conduct daily restricted party screenings.

You have a positive mindset and are a team player but also thrive working independently planning and managing your own activities and deliver result. You like to take responsibility and have good organizational skills as well as ability to see both the details and the big picture - making the right priorities. You easily co-operate across organizational borders build strong collaboration and relations with key stakeholders. You are of course passionate about Export Compliance and Supply Chain. You wish to contribute and interact on a global level and be a part of an ambitious team where we make things happen!

Wed love to hear that you have:

• Several years experience of Export Control (EU US legislation) and International Trade.
• Detailed knowledge about ECCN Restricted Party Screening Embargo Sanctions and more
• Experience from supply chains demanding ISP and/or BIS export licenses.
• Experience working in a global business environment.
• Communicative skills and enjoy interacting and collaborating with different people and cultures.
• Preferable some technical understanding for electronics and software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with working in ERP systems.
• Fluent in English both written and verbally.

Based in Sweden for a one-year period in a temporary position to cover maternity leave.
