What You Will Do
Brief internship description: As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Stryker you will gain hands-on experience supporting product design within the Integration this role you will contribute to thermal analysis of components and systems create and refine mechanical designs using Solidworks Ansys etc. and perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure robust product performance. You will also assist in developing engineering drawings and prints that meet industry and company standards. Throughout your internship you will collaborate with cross-functional teams apply problem-solving skills to real-world challenges and help drive innovation that improves patient outcomes. This internship will provide you with exposure to the full product development cycle from concept through validation while strengthening your technical analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Majors Targeted: Marketing Business Business Administration/Management Communications
What You Need
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
Demonstrated leadership problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
