Job Description
We are seeking a Database Lead to manage the day to day execution of the database migration project coordinate team activities and ensure successful delivery of migration milestones while maintaining quality standardsConfigure and execute AWS DMS for data migration activitiesMonitor data replication and synchronization processesPerform data validation and integrity checksHandle incremental data loads and change data captureTroubleshoot migration issues and performance bottlenecksStrong SQL skills in both SQL Server and PostgreSQLHands on experience with AWS DMS and database migration toolsProficiency in database performance tuning and optimizationKnowledge of Aurora PostgreSQL features and capabilitiesScripting skills Python PowerShell Shell scriptingExperience with database monitoring tools pgAdmin CloudWatchStrong analytical and problem solving abilitiesAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and in team environmentsGood documentation and communication skillsExperience with other database platforms Oracle MySQLKnowledge of data modeling and database design principlesFamiliarity with version control systems GitExperience with automated deployment tools
