JOB DESCRIPTION

Leveraging advanced design and drafting tools we provide engineers the opportunity to establish

process workflows integrate multidisciplinary designs and deliver innovative client-focused

solutions across EPC/EPCM projects.

Job Overview

Lead the preparation and development of process design deliverables ensuring safe efficient

and compliant plant designs. Responsible for P&IDs process schematics and integration with

piping instrumentation and mechanical disciplines. Provide technical leadership mentor junior

designers and support project execution through all stages.

Position Title : Senior Process Designer

Job Location : Hyderabad

Reporting to : General Manager

Employment Type : Full Time

Minimum Qualifications

Diploma/B.E. in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

Strong knowledge of process design fundamentals plant design standards and drafting

practices.

Mandatory: Proficiency in preparing and updating PFDs P&IDs process schematics

and datasheets.

Familiarity with international standards and codes (API ASME IEC ISA).

Hands-on experience with design/drafting tools (AutoCAD SmartPlant P&ID or

equivalent).

Advantageous (preferred): Exposure to process simulation software (Aspen

HYSYS/PRO-II) and 3D model review tools (Navisworks SmartPlant Review).

Experience

8–12 years of relevant experience in process design and drafting for EPC/EPCM

projects in oil & gas chemicals power or related industries.

Minimum 3 years in a senior or lead designer capacity handling multidisciplinary

coordination.

Key Accountabilities & Attributes

Develop and maintain PFDs P&IDs and process schematics aligned with client

standards and engineering inputs.

Interpret process documents (line lists equipment/instrument datasheets) into accurate

design deliverables.

Coordinate with piping instrumentation and mechanical teams to capture process

requirements in layouts and 3D models.

Support process safety design: relief systems cause & effect diagrams HAZOP/HAZID

updates.

Review vendor drawings/documents for compliance with process requirements.

Incorporate red marks revisions and produce as-built documentation on schedule.

Participate in model reviews and cross-discipline checks to resolve clashes or

inconsistencies.

Mentor junior designers enforce design/drafting standards and ensure QA/QC

compliance.

Strong analytical skills with focus on process safety and constructability.

Detail-oriented proactive and effective in interdisciplinary coordination.

Professionalism ownership and commitment to team development and mentoring.
