Job Summary
Looking for a detail-oriented Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling workers compensation claims providing exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of workers compensation claims from inception to close
- Conduct thorough investigations and gather necessary information to make accurate liability decisions
- Communicate effectively with injured workers medical providers and legal representatives
- Negotiate settlements and coordinate payments for medical treatment and lost wages
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex claims
Qualifications/Requirements
- Prior experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster
- Strong knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Relevant certifications/licenses in workers compensation claims adjusting
