Job Description
A3 Consulting LLC is in need of an onsite Project Manager to support the Program Management Office (PMO) operation at an existing Federal client. As a Project Manager you will work closely with the team to support the goals of the program and its clients.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Assist in evaluating and enhancing IT project management processes and templates
- Provide support and oversight to project sponsors and managers in managing their projects
- Ensure that projects are managed effectively and consistently throughout the systems lifecycle
- Develop and/or enhance a project management and systems development life cycle
- Develop and/or modify templates for project management documents
- Provide advice and support to Project sponsors and managers
- Develop and implement project management training programs
- Perform periodic analysis and reporting on the status of IT project management
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or similar
- At least 10 years of experience in system/software solution development and delivery
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience leading a team to deliver solutions
- Proven comprehension of technology and ability to speak and understand in technical terms
- Experience working in Scrum or Agile environments
- Ability to apply project management knowledge to real world scenarios
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in around Federal Government and working knowledge of contracting funding etc.
- Active PMP Certification
- Experience in application development systems administration/engineering or other technical discipline
- Active TS Clearance
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active US Government Top Secret Clearance
W-2 employees are preferred but we will also consider 1099 or C2C.
