A Day in the Life

Maintenance Technician troubleshoot any equipment malfunction; set-up and fine-tune equipment. Adjusts equipment settings in order to assist Design or qualification/validation plans. Conducts any testing and take measurements as required in the plan. Properly documents preventive maintenance activities and record test results. Provides direct support to the production line and operators. Monitors process and equipment performance and takes preventive action. Partners with Engineers Quality and Production personnel to quickly contain and prevent any quality related issues. Under the guidance of Manufacturing Engineers participates on equipment Buy-Off activities performs initial equipment installation and qualification prepares list of spare parts and defines PM procedures and frequency. Physically arranges and moves workstations and equipments as per the latest Layout plan. Assists engineers in implementing ECOs. Prepares technical reports as required.
3th shift
3rd shift- 9:00pm - 5:30 am (Monday -Friday)
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs installation maintenance and repairs on line manufacturing or plant equipment.
- Locates and diagnoses failures replaces defective components and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment detailed drawings diagrams sketches specifications prints manuals and verbal and/or written instructions.
- Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
- Uses a variety of hand power and test tools and equipment.
- May redesign optical vacuum electrical electronic or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.
- May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required.
Required Knowledge and Experience:0 years of experience required.
Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States)
Nice to have:
- Associate Degree in Technical area - Industrial Technology Electronics or related field preferred
- Able to read schematics drawings and have an understanding of analog and digital circuits.
