Job Description
TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Welding Supervisor in the San Antonio area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-Person
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and lead welding team members on the production floor
Ensure all safety procedures are followed and address any issues immediately
Monitor production goals including quality safety and output
Conduct audits and lead daily shift meetings
Review manpower update rosters and manage team schedules
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) inventory and scrap
Support training coaching and performance evaluations
Lead continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
Maintain accurate daily reports and complete investigations as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a manufacturing or welding supervisory role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of safety practices and quality standards
Reliable with strong attendance history
Experience with performance management and training
Familiarity with manufacturing systems (Plex a plus)
Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
SCHEDULE
Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (plus OT as needed) Rotating Monthly Schedule
