Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in orchestrating various events and ensuring they run smoothly from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning and a keen eye for detail capable of managing logistics and working collaboratively with diverse teams to deliver memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute a variety of events including corporate meetings trade shows and social gatherings.
- Coordinate logistics including venue selection catering transportation and audiovisual needs.
- Develop and manage event budgets ensuring costs stay within allocated limits.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors suppliers and venue managers.
- Oversee the creation of event materials such as invitations signage and promotional items.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the effectiveness of each event and identify improvement areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure event goals align with company objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Event Management Hospitality Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with a flair for engaging diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools along with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
