GSK is looking to hire a Professional Relations Manager Vaccines Specialty to join our Vaccines KAM Leadership Team (VKLT). This role is hybrid with a mix of remote work and on-site collaboration at our Canadian offices and across the territory. This is a key commercial leadership role responsible for representing GSKs expanding vaccines portfolio within the CVRM/IMID and Canadian healthcare landscape and acting as a strategic partner across Medical Marketing Sales and CGA-MA functions to accelerate national advocacy and project initiatives.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic engagement plans with External Experts (EEs) driving advocacy efforts and collaborating across cross-functional teams to ensure GSKs portfolio objectives are connected to national and regional healthcare priorities. You will work closely with Medical Marketing and Patient Affairs to support commercial and medical strategies providing insights and recommendations to guide business planning and patient-focused initiatives. The PRM is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with EEs regionally and nationally and for engaging them in advocacy efforts and project-based partnerships.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Provide strategic and operational guidance and feedback to commercial leadership contributing to strategic business plans and operational plans as well as commercial and medical tactics
In collaboration with Medical liaise with external subject matter experts in specialty and vaccines-related diseases (including patient management & guidelines)
Engage Tier 1 EEs as primary point of contact for field-level clinical insights commercial advice-seeking and consultancy work and function in a consultative way to medical as required to support medical strategies (this role is distinct and separate but complementary to sales force)
Provide marketing medical and GAMA with recommendations on EEs for various strategic projects such as reimbursement advocacy patient advocacy group collaborations medical education programs clinical development programs global EE program representation (e.g. globally led steering committees)
Attend and represent GSK Canada at key national and international congresses to maintain currency on relationship and advocacy building
Work collaboratively with Marketing & Medical to lead or consult closely on objectives for commercial advisory boards or consultancies seeking advice
In collaboration with Medical and Patient Affairs activate Patient Advocacy Groups driving awareness advocacy and demand
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in business life sciences or related field
Proven track record in specialties sales
Strong understanding of the national and regional therapeutic area landscapes with existing relationships
Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape
Strong knowledge of specialty therapeutic areas (recent Canadian cardiology endocrinology and nephrology experience) within the defined territory (minimum 5 years)
Excellent leadership cross-functional collaboration communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
Excellent knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines from the Canadian pharmaceutical industry
Valid drivers license
Ability to travel domestically as required
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree/MBA
Expert knowledge of the vaccines and/or specialty markets
Strong working knowledge and proven performance in program account and health systems-based markets/landscapes
Proven ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership excellence
