Job Description:

Supports RLB Librarys INFO Desk until closing one evening per week. Provides reference support in person and through the online chat service. Completes other reference-related tasks such as updating online guides and supporting the Second Chance program as needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide reference support at least one evening/week including answering reference questions that come in through the online chat services and in-person.
Provides support for the INFO desk as needed.
Performs reference related tasks that can be done while covering the INFO desk.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors Degree

Experience: One year of experience directly related to primary duties of the position.

Additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge skills and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current enrollment or completed coursework in an MLS or MLIS degree program preferred.
