About the role
As an Accounts Payable Team Lead youll take ownership of a key function within our finance operations.
Youll lead a team responsible for managing end-to-end AP processes ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance. With responsibility for team coordination mentoring and process optimization youll play a vital role in reducing financial risk and driving operational excellence. Your expertise will guide daily operations and contribute to broader financial strategies across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage the most complex and high-risk accounts payable portfolios.
Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on AP strategies.
Design advanced payment processing models and methodologies.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize cash flow.
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to all levels of accounts payable associates.
Constant monitorization of performance of the team.
First level of contact and support of the team of account payable associates.
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
Represent the organization in high-level negotiations and discussions.
Continuously drive process improvements and innovation in payment management.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports and strategic insights to senior management.
Skills:
Expert Analysis:Highly skilled in conducting complex financial analyses related to AP.
Strategic Leadership:Ability to provide strategic guidance and lead high-impact initiatives.
Negotiation Skills:Expertise in high-level negotiations and conflict resolution.
Innovation:Ability to drive innovative solutions and process improvements.
Mentorship:Skills in training and mentoring associates at all levels.
Regulatory Expertise:Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
High-Impact Reporting:Proficiency in preparing and presenting detailed strategic reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles.
Proven experience as a team lead.
Proven experience in managing complex and high-risk AP portfolios.
Proficiency in SAP is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Strong understanding of advanced payment processing techniques and methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach.
Ability to handle high-level negotiations and discussions professionally.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient in English.
