What you will do:
Be responsible for data entry of billing information into the billing system.
May be requested to contact physician offices to obtain additional information to submit charges in timely manner.
Utilize correct coding and payor requirements to ensure prompt payment of claims.
What you will need:
Education:High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience:Prior laboratory/medical billing experience preferred
Skills:Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations excellent problem solving skills and organizational skills working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel required. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians and/or physician office staff. Must be able to collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
