At Acelero Learning Delaware were transforming early childhood educationand were looking for a caring reliable and passionate Teacher Aide to support our mission. As a Teacher Aide youll play a vital role in assisting teachers and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn grow and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
What Youll Do
As a Teacher Aide you will:
Support teachers in creating a safe nurturing and engaging classroom environment for young children.
Assist with daily routines including meals health checks playtime and smooth transitions throughout the day.
Engage with children in hands-on activities that promote social emotional and cognitive development.
Help maintain a clean organized and developmentally appropriate classroom setting.
Partner with teachers and families to ensure every childs needs are supported.
Who You Are
Were looking for someone who is:
Passionate about working with young children and supporting their growth.
Collaborative and dependable with a positive and flexible attitude.
Able to build strong relationships with children families and staff.
Reflective and eager to learn new strategies in early childhood education.
Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus!
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; CDA or college coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Experience working with young children in a classroom childcare or similar setting.
Must pass a physical exam and background check.
Valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and actively engage with children throughout the day.
