Job Description

At Acelero Learning Delaware were transforming early childhood educationand were looking for a caring reliable and passionate Teacher Aide to support our mission. As a Teacher Aide youll play a vital role in assisting teachers and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn grow and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

What Youll Do

As a Teacher Aide you will:

  • Support teachers in creating a safe nurturing and engaging classroom environment for young children.

  • Assist with daily routines including meals health checks playtime and smooth transitions throughout the day.

  • Engage with children in hands-on activities that promote social emotional and cognitive development.

  • Help maintain a clean organized and developmentally appropriate classroom setting.

  • Partner with teachers and families to ensure every childs needs are supported.

Who You Are

Were looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about working with young children and supporting their growth.

  • Collaborative and dependable with a positive and flexible attitude.

  • Able to build strong relationships with children families and staff.

  • Reflective and eager to learn new strategies in early childhood education.

  • Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus!

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; CDA or college coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.

  • Experience working with young children in a classroom childcare or similar setting.

  • Must pass a physical exam and background check.

  • Valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and actively engage with children throughout the day.
