Job Summary
Financial Analyst (CT-based applicants only)
Location:This is an onsite position based out of our New Haven CT location 5 days a week (must currently live within commuting distance)

The Door Security Solutions Finance and Accounting team is seeking a results-oriented finance and accounting professional. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our dynamic fast-paced organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage themonthly close process including preparation of journal entries account reconciliations and account analysis.
- Prepareintercompany allocations and billings.
- Assist in the preparation ofbudgets and forecasts.
- Generate and analyzesales reports ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Maintain and enhance existingreporting toolsto improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Design and buildcustom reports and dashboardsinSAP Business ObjectsandPower BIto support business decision-making.
- Support compliance withinternal control policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement opportunities tostreamline accounting and reporting processes.
- Assist in the implementation ofautomation toolsand promote best practices.
- Contribute to variousspecial projects and ad hoc financial analysesand tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles financial reporting and data analysis.
- Advanced knowledge ofMicrosoft ExcelPower BI andSAP Business Objects.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. JD Edwards SAP Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical organization problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to interpret data to identify trends.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Education and/or experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.
