Als Global Business Development Manager Contract Logistics (m/w/d) konzentrierst Du Dich darauf starke Beziehungen zu neuen Schlüsselkunden aufzubauen. Mit dem Ziel sicherzustellen dass HWL Contract Logistics bei bevorstehenden CL-Ausschreibungen weltweit berücksichtigt wird und dadurch neue Geschäftsmöglichkeiten entstehen leistest Du einen entscheidenden Beitrag zum Wachstum. Es geht um die signifikante Steigerung und Umwandlung des Geschäftspotenzials für Contract Logistics in den Regionen Americas APAC und IMEA. Der Erfolg der Rolle basiert auf der Förderung maßgeschneiderter lösungsorientierter Services sowie einem komplexen externen und internen Stakeholder-Management sowohl mit der Sales-Organisation als auch dem Produktbereich CL.

Diese Position kann an einem beliebigen Standort in Deutschland besetzt werden.

About the Job

  • Development of targeted global Contract Logistics (CL) accounts and the establishment and maintenance of strong relationships for long-term success
  • Strategic development of global CL customers by understanding their business needs and orchestrating tailored and complex solutions during tender phases
  • Management of global and when necessary regional and local CL customer acquisitions and negotiation of sales terms and contracts
  • Generation of CL tender leads primarily for the Americas Asia-Pacific and IMEA regions and support in the timely delivery of compelling and value-added proposals
  • Active collaboration with the CL product team regarding customized product design for customers pricing tenders and customer service
  • Collection of sales data and maintenance of customer information in the CRM system along with regular updates on tender opportunities for senior management and key stakeholders
  • Implementation of sales strategies initiatives and processes defined by the global/regional/country-specific sales team
  • Compliance with sales and contract logistics policies and procedures as well as adherence to relevant regulations
  • Creation and maintenance of a clear RFQ schedule with targeted opportunities to ensure active participation across all relevant geographies and industries

About You

  • Masters degree in Business Administration ideally with a focus on Logistics or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in Contract Logistics with a focus on large global customers
  • Extensive expertise in Contract Logistics
  • Strong knowledge of managing complex customer needs and stakeholder management
  • Broad international experience
  • Excellent communication skills strong organizational abilities and a structured working style
  • Digital affinity and a keen interest in leveraging technology to drive business growth and innovation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • High willingness to travel internationally
