Job Summary
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or working towards a professional certification (e.g. ACCA CPA) is required.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in UAE VAT or tax-related role
- Have good knowledge of Tax Financial Accounting and Compliance matters
- Experience in financial advisory and other related financial services and products.
- Complying with tax laws and obligations.
- Working to set standards of performance
- Producing ideas (for the customer and the department)
- Personal standards (commitment attitude appearance contribution Excellent Client interface at all times and all costs)
- Proficient in English
Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients.
- Assist in VAT registration and deregistration processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for client VAT accounts.
- Assist in preparing VAT refund and penalty reconsideration applications.
- Help review client documentation to ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
- Respond to client queries under the guidance of senior tax staff.
- Stay updated with the latest VAT rules and practices in the UAE.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security standards in all processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary financial data.
- Participate in trainings and development programs to enhance VAT knowledge.
- Perform other duties as directed by the VAT Manager to support department goals.
