Job Description
About the Role:
The Project Manager Estimator plays a critical role in overseeing residential and commercial roofing and remodeling projects from bid to completion. This position combines cost estimating project planning and client communication to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to quality standards. The role requires strong organizational skills construction knowledge and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates bids and proposals for roofing siding and remodeling projects.
- Review project specifications blueprints and scope of work to determine labor materials and time requirements.
- Manage active projects from pre-construction through closeout ensuring timelines budgets and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate subcontractors suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits inspections and progress meetings with clients.
- Track project costs change orders and scheduling adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations building codes and quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients by providing clear communication and excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an estimator project manager or construction manager within roofing siding or general contracting.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and building codes.
- Proficiency in project management and estimating software.
- Excellent organizational time management and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel to job sites.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in construction management engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with roofing systems siding products and remodeling materials.
- Experience managing both residential and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of cost-control practices and financial forecasting.
