AEITS Inc. a GTSC company is growing its team! Seeking a Senior System Engineer Level 4 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction MD area.
Location: Annapolis Junction Maryland
All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
Schedule: Day Shift - Mon-Fri
Mission: As a Senior System Engineer supporting this government program your mission focuses on applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept Development Production Utilization Support and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems issues or conflicts. Communicate with other program personnel government overseers and senior executives.
Clearance:Active TS/SCI with appropriate polygraph.

Responsible for the technical integrity quality and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288. Must be able to show expertise and experience with:
- Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition Requirements Analysis Architectural Design Implementation Integration Verification Transition Validation Operation Maintenance and Disposal.
- Project Process Area - Project Planning Project Assessment and Control Decision Management Risk Management Configuration Management Information Management and Measurement.
- Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management Infrastructure Management Lifecycle Model Management Human Resource Management and Quality Management.
- Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.
Education:
- A High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience.
OR - A Bachelors degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
OR - A Masters degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
OR - A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus (8) years of systems engineering experience.
Duties:
- Requirements analysis responsibilities:
- SDD management
- MVP development and completion tracking
- Use case development
- Capabilities gap analysis between CED and VHE during transition
- Develop test plans and schedules. Document results of testing.
- Develop transition and decommissioning documentation
- Participate in CED WIPT meetings and assist with creation of required artifacts to support WIPT
- Attend VHE meetings
- Develop and maintain system engineering artifacts
- Recommend and create user communications about transition
- Provide user support during CED-VHE transition
- JIRA ticket management
