Job Description
Job Title: Physician - OB/GYN
Join a compassionate Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology team at an established clinic located within Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. This facility boasts state-of-the-art amenities and advanced surgical technology all set in a supportive community just an hour away from the vibrant city of St. Louis Missouri.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings ensuring high-quality medical services.
- Manage a diverse patient panel focusing on womens health issues such as prenatal care gynecological surgeries and preventative care.
- Conduct regular inpatient hospital rounds and coordinate care coverage to maintain care continuity.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including specialty consultants from St. Louis Childrens Hospital.
- Utilize advanced procedural rooms and robotic surgical technology for high-quality care.
- Participate in a shared call schedule to support after-hours patient needs.
- Document all medical histories treatments and procedures thoroughly and accurately.
- Lead and mentor advanced practice providers and clinical support staff.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through CME opportunities and dedicated time for growth.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and safety protocols.
- Support community outreach efforts as needed to enhance patient care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department and hospital.
- Serve in a community-focused role at a critical access hospital with comprehensive healthcare services.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- MO License (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB/GYN is required; 2-5 years is highly preferred.
- DEA and CSR/CDS certifications must be obtained prior to starting.
- Clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- DEA License.
- CSR/CDS License.
- MO State License or willingness to obtain.
- Visa support available for J1 candidates.
